Welcome
Team Resources, Inc. is a Ventura, California based natural gas and oil operating company founded in 2002 with primary operations in Kansas. Team Resources is a “hands on” company currently operating more than 40 wells and a 300+ mile natural gas transmission system (pipeline). The Kansas field operation offices are located in Burden and Yates Center, Kansas. The company owns its own service rig for better management, production and operational costs of our wells. The Company’s directors have over 100 years of combined experience in the gas and oil industry and are vital to Team’s execution of our business model.
Team Resources growth strategy is fairly simple. Team acquires producing or productive underdeveloped natural gas / oil fields and drill new wells in between this established production. This is called “developmental drilling” or exploitation of proven under developed reserves (PUD’s). PUD’s are lower risk developments compared to more speculative exploration prospects.
Team is in the process of acquiring acreage in 11 different fields – consisting of over 30,000 acres with our near term plans to drill over 100 - 150 wells over the next four to five years. Team has focused our efforts in Southeast Kansas due to the proven underdeveloped natural gas reserves. Beginning in the 1950's, Conoco, Texaco and other major companies discovered both natural gas and oil reservoirs on these properties, however focused solely on producing the vast amount of oil. While significant natural gas reserves were discovered and verified, the economics and lack of demand for natural gas did not lend itself to development of these reserves. With reasonable acreage and development costs today, coupled with current and future natural gas demand, these properties meet our Companies criteria and objectives.
In order to further develop our natural gas and oil fields, Team Resources sponsors’ Direct Participation Programs (DPP’s) for accredited individuals, entitling them to the cash flow generated from the company’s gas and oil programs. These programs also offer participants federally approved “flow through” tax benefits, which the U.S. government has designed to encourage domestic drilling. Since the Tax Reform Act of 1986, Direct Participation Programs in oil and gas are one of the few remaining investments that allow investors to shelter income, making it one of the most tax advantaged investments today.
